Windmill Wood Retreat

Studio Weave were commissioned to transform an unused barn into a recreational retreat, complementing a private residence in Windmill Wood, Knutsford. The design provides a flexible entertainment space for the client, featuring a swimming pool, sauna, cinema, and games room. Sustainability is at the core of the project, upgrading the industrial structure with timber harvested from the surrounding woodlands – much suited to its natural setting. As part of a holistic approach, the large openings frame views of the newly enhanced gardens.
