In 2015, we joined forces with Architecture 00. Together, we enjoy collaborating in a shared environment where strategic, urban and social designers, architects, programmers and economists practice design beyond its traditional borders. 00 work with individuals, governments, corporations and communities to solve problems and anticipate change, and to design successful platforms and places. As a studio it aims to reach beyond the design of objects themselves to the social, economic and environmental systems behind them.

Small Change: Big Impact - A practical guide to changing London's public spaces.

Studio Weave and 00 have been appointed by TFL to deliver a Tactical Urbanism Strategy for London's streetscape & public realm.

The study and toolkit that make up this practical guide was the product of a three month process which included a series of interviews and workshops with project initiators, practitioners, local authorities and other public bodies. The study makes the case that innovative ways of co-producing public spaces can transform spaces for social as well as economic and environmental benefit.  The stories of a wide range of case studies, from 'parklets' to street parties, are told in order to make the case - as well as highlight practical ways in which barriers can be overcome. The toolkit therefore builds upon these stories to provide user friendly tangible advice on how to get these changes made from early site evaluations to collecting (and communicating) impact measurement.
