Domestic Work
In addition to our work for public clients, we are also interested in working with people on their homes.
Our domestic experience includes projects large and small from an Enid Blyton-inspired secret slide down to a children’s playroom, to converting a garage into a practice room for a classical violinist with an excessive record-player collection, to the transformation and extension an old school caretakers cottage into a substantial family home.
Je and Maria are both Architects Registration Board (ARB) registered Architects and Je is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Prior to setting up Studio Weave, Je and Maria both worked in a number of medium and large Architecture practices including Bennetts Associates Architects and David Morley Architects. During this time, we worked on various domestic projects from one-off houses in West London, Somerset and Wiltshire, to small housing developments, to large residential conversions including the conversion of a Grade II listed silk mill.
If you, or anyone you know, would like to talk to us about building a new home or making your current habitat more marvellous, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
