We are always keen to collaborate with others be they artists, designers, writers, illustrators, printmakers, musicians, composers, curators, architects, landscape architects, and many others. It is this desire to work together and with others that motivated us to set up our practice. Using stories as a design methodology can be a brilliant tool for collaboration as the characters and their adventures take on lives and logic of their own, allowing everyone to contribute and creating a strong sense of shared authorship.
Studio Weave has excellent relationships with a number of construction professionals including structural engineers, cost consultants, project managers, health and safety experts and many others. We are able to draw on this wealth of expertise to ensure our projects run smoothly and successfully. We are working with consultants on all our current projects as well as on the occasional competition. We also aim to work as closely as possible with fabricators and contractors and, when we’re able, actually join them in the process.
